Herring Mobile Gear Fishery Opening in Bonavista Bay (Area 5)
DFO advises that the Herring fishery in Bonavista Bay (Herring Fishing Area 5) will open for mobile gear (purse seine) vessels less than 65 feet in length, at 0600 hours on Wednesday October 26th, 2016.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2016-233 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-237 comes into effect on October 26, 2016.
