Eel Fishery Closing
DFO advises fish harvesters that the eel fishery will close on October 31, 2016 in all areas for all gear types. All fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time. Fish harvesters are also reminded that it is mandatory that they return their logbooks.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2016-037 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-243 comes into effect on October 29, 2016.
