2016 2J3KL Northern Cod Stewardship/Bycatch Fishery Closure

DFO advises that the Northern cod Stewardship/Bycatch fishery will close to fish harvesters based in NAFO Divisions 2J3KL at 2200 hours on Friday, December 16, 2016. This will apply to Vessel classes A156, A250, A251, A253, A254, A256, A257, A259 and A260.

 

Fish harvesters are reminded that fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time.

 

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2016-254 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-255 comes into effect  on November 25, 2016.
