Public Safety Notice: Travelling over sea ice in Coastal Labrador
Seasonal lifting of marine navigational aids is now complete in the Lake Melville/Goose Bay area; however, there remain a number of winter navigational aids which will be frozen into the sea ice in the area.
All persons using snow machines to transit on sea ice should do so with caution since not all of these navigation aids will be visible above the ice throughout the winter season.
