Mobile Gear Herring Fishery Closing in Conception Bay/Southern Shore

DFO advises that the Mobile gear Herring Fishing in Herring Fishing Area 7 (Conception Bay) and Herring Fishing Area 8 (Southern Shore) in NAFO Division 3L will close at 1800 hrs on May 20, 2016.

Fishers are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water prior to the closure.

The Regional Director General, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada advises that Variation Order 2016-045 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-048 comes into effect on May 20, 2016 at 1600 hours.
