FIXED GEAR HERRING FISHERY CLOSING IN 3Ps

DFO advises fishers that fixed gear in Herring Fishing Areas 10 and 11, including Pass Island to Cinq Cerf, will close at 2400hrs on June 3, 201. Fishers are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water prior to the closure.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2016-056 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-059 comes into effect on June 3, 2016. Harvesters are reminded that licence conditions are available through the National Online Licencing System (NOLS).
