Salmon Rivers closing in Zones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11

DFO advises anglers that due to extremely low water levels and extremely high water temperatures, the following rivers will close effective one hour after sunset on Friday July 21, 2017. Rivers will reopen as conditions improve.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Orders 2017-161, 2017-162, 2017-163, 2017-164, and 2017-165 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2017-166, 2017-167, 2017-168, 2017-169, and 2017-170 come into effect on July 21, 2017.
