10A Outer Soft-Shell Crab Closure of Grids O58 and O61

DFO advises that in accordance with the Soft-Shell Crab Protocol, Grids O58 and O61 in Crab Fishing Area 10A Outer Placentia Bay will close to fishing for Snow crab at 2400 hours on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 due to a high incidence of soft-shell Crab. These grids will be closed to Snow crab fishing for the remainder of the year.

Harvesters should note that all gear in this grid shall be removed on your next fishing trip.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2017-087 has been revoked and Variation Order 2017-090 comes into effect on June 6, 2017.
