Mackerel Fishery Opening in 3Ps - Mobile and Fixed Gear

DFO advises that the mobile and fixed gear mackerel fishery for NAFO Divisions 3Ps will open at 0600 hours on Monday, August 7, 2017.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Orders 2017-198 and 2017-199 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2017-203 and 2017-201 come into effect on August 5, 2017.

"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at http://www.nfl.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/e0004341
