Capelin, Herring, and Mackerel Fisheries Closing

DFO advises harvesters that all capelin, herring, and mackerel fisheries in the Newfoundland and Labrador Region will close as of December 31, 2017.

The following Variation Orders come into force on December 31, 2017:

Capelin Fixed Gear 2017-311

Capelin Mobile Gear 2017-310

Herring Fixed Gear 2017-315

Herring Mobile Gear 2017-314

Mackerel Fixed Gear 2017-313

Mackerel Mobile Gear 2017-312
