Lobster Fishing Area 14B (Point Riche to Ferolle Point) Delayed Opening

DFO advises that, at the request of Industry, the opening of the 2017 Lobster season in Lobster Fishing Area 14B Point Riche to Ferolle Point has been delayed until further notice.  

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2017-043 has been revoked and Variation Order 2017-046 comes into effect on May 8, 2017.

“Notices to Fish Harvesters” for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at http://www.nfl.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/e0004341 .
