Travelling over sea ice in coastal Newfoundland
Due to the freeze-up of coastal waters in the Griquet Harbour area, persons travelling over sea ice should be aware that some marine navigational aids have not been recovered from the water.
All persons using snow machines to transit on sea ice should do so with caution since some navigational aid buoys remain in the water and may not be visible due to winter conditions.
