DFO INSHORE FISHERY OUTREACH MEETINGS (NAFO sub-division 3Ps)

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans will host a number of meetings in the Southern Western and Straits Area (NAFO sub-division 3Ps). The intent of the meetings is to provide inshore harvesters and other interested stakeholders an opportunity to discuss matters of concern in current inshore fisheries. Our primary goal will be to hear harvesters' concerns with a view to working with them to develop feasible solutions. The schedule of meetings is as follows:

Star of the Sea Hall, Placentia, 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, November 20th 2017;

Marystown Motel & Convention Centre, Marystown, 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, November 21st 2017;

English Harbour West Lion's Club, English Harbour West, 10:00am-12:00pm. Thursday, November 23rd 2017;

Harbour Breton Loyal Orange Lodge, Harbour Breton, 4:00-6:00pm, Thursday, November 23rd 2017.
