Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Zone 14A

DFO advises anglers that due to improved environmental conditions the following rivers will re-open to catch-and-release angling only one hour before sunrise on Friday, September 7, 2018:

Zone 14A

154. Lomond Main River, (East Arm, Bonne Bay) including East Branch

157. Parsons Pond River & tributary streams

158. Portland Creek River, including Brian's Feeder

159. Portland Creek Feeder & tributary streams

160. River of Ponds, including Kate's Feeder, Big Feeder Brook, Spring Tilt Brook (below Spring Tilt Pond) & Big Gulch Brook

161. Little Brook Ponds & tributary streams

162. Torrent River & tributary streams

163. East River, Hawke's Bay

164. Castor River, including Southwest Feeder

167. East River, St. Barbe

171. Parker's River (West Brook), Pistolet Bay

174. East River, Pistolet Bay

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Orders 2018-348, 2018-349, 2018-350, 2018-351 and 2018-352 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2018-354, 2018-355, 2018-356, 2018-357 and 2018-358 come into effect on September 7, 2018.
