LOBSTER FISHERY OPENINGS IN 3K

DFO advises of the following lobster fishery dates:

- White Bay (LFA 3) Cape Charles to Cape St John will open May 19 at 06:00 hours and close July 14 at 20:00 hours;

- Notre Dame Bay West (LFA 4A) Cape St John to North Head will open May 26 at 06:00 hours and close July 14 at 20:00 hours;

- Notre Dame Bay East (LFA 4B) North Head to Cape Freels will open May 5 at 06:00 hours and close June 29 at 20:00 hours.

DFO reminds fish harvesters of that traps are not to be retrieved until after the two day setting period.

DFO reminds fish harvesters that they must possess a valid licence conditions available on the National Online Licencing System.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2018-031 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-036 comes into effect on April 24, 2018.
