2018 SNOW CRAB SEASON EXTENSION FOR CRAB FISHING AREAS IN NAFO DIVISIONS 4R3Pn

DFO advises that the Snow crab fishery has been extended in Crab Fishing Areas 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D, 12E, 12H, Outside 8 Mile, and Bay St. George and will now close at 2000 hours on Friday, June 22, 2018.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2018-078 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-088 comes into effect on June 9, 2018.

"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at http://www.nfl.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/e0004341
