Mobile Gear Capelin Fishery closing in Conception Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 7)

DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using mobile gear in Conception Bay (CFA 7) will close today, Sunday July 8, 2018 at 2400 hours.

Fish harvesters are advised to listen to 2598 khz or VHF continuous Marine Radio for the latest information.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2018-141 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-145 comes into effect at 1800 hours on July 8, 2018.
