CRAB FISHERY DELAYED OPENING

DFO advises the Snow crab fishery in Newfoundland and Labrador will not open before May 11, 2020. Once season dates are determined on an area by area basis, they will be communicated via Notice to Fish Harvesters.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada is committed to working with industry and partners across government to determine the best path forward given the evolving global response to COVID-19.
