Amendment: BAY OF ISLANDS OPENING TO PELAGICS TUCK SEINE FISHING

DFO advises harvesters that Fishing Area 13 (Cape Ray to Cape St. Gregory) in the inner portion of the Bay of Islands (North Arm, Humber Arm, York Harbour and Lark Harbour), inside of a straight line drawn from Crabb Point to North Arm Point to Middle Arm Point to Peter Point, Woods Island to Shoal Point to Fleming Point will open for capelin and herring for harvesters using tuck seine on June 19, 2020 at 0600 hours.

Any lost gear must be reported as per licence condition.

DFO advises harvesters new conditions are required and to review requirements.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2020-088 has been revoked and Variation Order 2020-089 comes into effect on June 19, 2020.
