Reminder: At-Sea Observer Conditions

Harvesters are reminded that observer fees must be paid prior to starting fishing for all fisheries subject to at-sea observer coverage.

At-sea observer coverage must be arranged and confirmed and, as outlined in the "Letter of Arrangement" issued by an At-Sea Observer Corporation, designated by the Newfoundland and Labrador Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada. This "Letter of Arrangement" must be attached to the licence document.

"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at http://www.nfl.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/e0004341
