Second Round Permits for 2+3KLMNO FG <65'Greenland Halibut

DFO advises harvesters that the 2nd round permits for the < 65 ft. fixed gear Greenland halibut fishery (Turbot) in NAFO Divisions 2+3KLMNO are available and the fishery will open on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at 06:00 hours and close Thursday, September 3rd, 2020.

Permit amounts will remain the same as they were in the 1st Permit. Harvesters are advised that the fishery will close prior to the schedule date should landings indicate that the TAC will be taken prior to the closure date.

Fish Harvesters are required to hail-out to an At Sea Observer Company 24 hours prior to leaving port.

License conditions will be available through DFO's National On-line Licensing System for those fish harvesters who submitted an Expression of Interest and are eligible to participate in the NAFO Divisions 2+3KLMNO fixed gear Greenland halibut (Turbot) fishery.
