Fixed Gear Herring Fishery (Barr seine) Opening in Notre Dame Bay (HFA 4)

DFO advises harvesters that the fixed gear Herring fishery for barr/tuck seine will open in Herring Fishing Area 4 (Notre Dame Bay) in NAFO Division 3K at 0600 hours on Thursday November 5, 2020.

Conditions are available on the National Online Licensing System (NOLS) for harvesters with a fixed gear license for Notre Dame Bay.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2020-240 has been revoked and Variation Order 2020-249 comes into effect on November 5, 2020.
