Capelin Fisheries Closing

DFO advises harvesters that all capelin fisheries in the Newfoundland and Labrador Region will close as of December 31, 2021.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Orders 2021-171 and 2021-189 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2021-292 and 2021-293 come into effect at 2359 hours on December 31, 2021.
