Herring Fishery Opening For GILLNETS/TRAP ONLY in NAFO Division 3L (HFA 7-9)

DFO advises that the fixed gear herring (gillnet/trap) fishery for Conception Bay, the Southern Shore and St. Mary’s Bay, (Herring Fishing Areas 7, 8 and 9) will open at 0600 hours on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-027 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-035 comes into effect on April 24, 2021.
