North Atlantic Right Whale - Notice of seasonal grid closure(s) in NAFO Division 4T 

The Newfoundland and Labrador Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is providing notice of grid status updates related to North Atlantic Right Whale (NARW). The information presented herein is consistent with the 2021 NARW management measures previously announced by DFO.

Following a repeat detection within days nine to fifteen of a 15 day dynamic closure period, the following grid(s) in NAFO division 4T are in a seasonal closure status until November 15, 2021:

 

• Full grid:               GT37

 

• Portion of grid(s): GT36
