Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Closing In a Portion of White Bay

DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will close on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 22:00 hours in the following areas in a portion of White Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 3):

• Cape Fox to Hampton, Inclusive

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2021-136 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-142 comes into effect at 1700 hours on July 9, 2021.
