SNOW CRAB SEASON EXTENSION FOR SELECT CRAB FISHING AREAS IN NAFO DIVISIONS 3LNO

DFO advises that the Snow crab fishery will now close at 2000 hours on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in select Crab Management Areas in NAFO Divisions 3LNO. This season extensions applies exclusively to the following Crab Management Areas:

• NS
• 8BxN
• 8B
• 6A (Inner and Outer) 
• 6B (Inner and Outer)

Harvesters are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-207 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-210 comes into effect on July 28, 2021.
