COD FISHERY OPENING IN NAFO DIVISION 4RS3Pn

DFO advises that the competitive fixed gear Cod fishery (AGC) in NAFO Division 4RS and sub-Division 3Pn, will open at 0600 on October 21, 2021.

As outlined in licence conditions for this fishery, participants will be restricted to using hook and line and to landing in one of the following designated landing ports: Lapoile, Rose Blanche, Burnt Islands, Isle aux Morts, Margaree, Port aux Basques, and Codroy.

New conditions are required.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-279 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-280 comes into effect at October 21, 2021
