REMINDER: Fixed Gear Herring Fishery Open Southern Shore HFA 8

Fisheries and Oceans Canada reminds harvesters the Herring commercial gillnet and trap fishery opened in the Southern Shore (Herring Fishing Area 8) at 0600 hours on April 1, 2016.

Licence conditions are available through the National Online Licencing System (NOLS).

Fish harvesters are advised that dockside monitoring is a requirement in this fishery.
