Lobster Fishery Closing in NAFO Division 3L

DFO advises fish harvesters in NAFO Division 3L that the lobster fishery in the followings areas will close on the following dates:

- Bonavista Bay (LFA 5) will close July 12;

- Trinity Bay (LFA 6) will close July 6;

- Conception Bay (LFA 7) will close July 5;

- Southern Shore (LFA 8) will close July 12;

- Cape Race to Cape Pine (LFA 9A) will close June 28;

- Cape Pine to Cape St. Mary's (LFA 9B) will close July 6.

Fish harvesters are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time. Harvesters are also advised to submit their completed Lobster logbooks as required. Failure to do so may result in enforcement action.
