Cod Fishery Opening in NAFO Division 4RS3Pn

DFO advises that the competitive fixed gear Cod fishery in NAFO Division 4RS and sub-Division 3Pn, will open at midnight, Monday, November 21, 2016 and close at 1800 hours, Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

 

Participants in this fishery will be restricted to landing in ports from Lapoile to Codroy and new conditions are required.

 

New conditions will be available on the National Online Licencing System.

 

This fishery is open to vessel classes A154, A155, (vessels less than 19.8m (65 feet) with a homeport in NAFO Division 4R and Subdivision 3Pn).

 

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2016-248 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-254 comes into effect  on November 22, 2016.
