The Regional Director-General of Fisheries and Oceans Canada for the Maritimes Region gives notice that Variation Order MAR-VAR-2025-056 has been issued to vary the close times for angling in certain waters of New Brunswick.
It is prohibited to angle for any species of fish in the waters listed below during the period of April 15 to May 15 inclusive:
1) The portion of the Petitcodiac River from Boundary Creek (a line drawn across the river from a point at 46o 03’ 00.2” N, 64o 58’ 39.8” W to a point at 46o 02’ 57.3” N, 64o 58’ 38.7” W) upstream to the Hasty Covered Bridge on Powers Pit Road.
2) The portion of Little River from its confluence with the Petitcodiac River upstream to the Route 895 bridge.
3) The portion of the Pollett River from its confluence with the Petitcodiac River upstream to the bridge on the Sanitorium Road.
