Lumpfish Fishery Opening in a portion of NAFO Division 3L

DFO wishes to advise harvesters that the Lumpfish fishery will open at 06:00 hours on June 12, 2021 in the following Lumpfish fishing areas: Southern Shore including vessel classes A250, A253 and A438 Waters adjacent to Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove open only to vessel class A438.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2019-202, and 2021-086 have been revoked and Variation Order 2021-088 and 2021-089 come into effect on June 12, 2021.

Harvesters are reminded that licence conditions are available through the National Online Licencing System (NOLS).
