Order closing certain waters near Miramichi Bay in the province of New-Brunswick for fishing for all bivalve molluscs.

Notice

The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby gives notice that the areas listed below are closed for fishing for any species of clams, mussels, oysters and any other bivalve molluscs, including bay scallops, in the Province of New Brunswick:

1. The The waters of Ruisseau Sureau Blanc inside a line drawn at the following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.478683°, -64.899851°,  to 47.479681°, -64.893914°. (Refer to map Wishart Point 21 P/7).

2. The waters of Neguac Bay inside a line drawn at the following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.23527°,  65.085548°, seaward to 47.235619°, -65.082206°, then to 47.236995°, -65.080754° and thence shoreward to 47.239397°, -65.080808°. (Refer to map Chatham 21P/3).

3. The waters of Neguac Bay and Godin Brook inside a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.243381°, -65.075375°, eastward to 47.242855°,  65.073729°, then to 47.246656°, -65.070058° and then shoreward to 47.249713°, -65.070217°. (Refer to map Chatham 21 P/3).

4. That portion of Neguac bay, including Rivière-des-Caches, inside a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.223986°, -65.10274° to 47.22663°,  65.095976. (Refer to map Chatham 21 P/3).

5. Bay du Vin inside a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.052394°, -65.140619° to 47.053268°, -65.141971° to 47.056936°, -65.138299° to 47.059732°, -65.133143° to 47.058408°, -65.131774°. (Refer to map Chatham 21 P/3).

6. The foreshore and all the waters 150 m around Egg Island within a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.1035705°, -65.05121° to 47.102356°,  65.051158° on the South shore of the island thence following 150 m around the island and back to those grid references. (Refer to map Chatham 21P/3).

7. The waters of Miramichi Bay inside a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.078463°,  64.902699° seaward to 47.083589°, -64.902881° to 47.083937°, -64.881814° and shoreward to 47.08025°,  64.881685. (Refer to map Point Escuminac 21P/2).

8. The waters of McKnight Brook and the Shoreline of Neguac Bay inside a line drawn from following Latitude/Longitude positions; from 47.261312°, -65.049717° seaward to 47.260178°, -65.04872°, thence to 47.262211°, -65.043196°, then shoreward to 47.26347°, -65.043773°. (Refer to map Tabusintac River 21 P/6).

Note: The Latitude and Longitude positions are express in decimal, degrees based on the datum World Geodetic Coordinate System 1984 (WGS84) which is equivalent to the North American Datum 1983 (NAD 83) system.

Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order no. GSN-2013-007 is hereby revoked.
