NOTICE 

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, issues the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2014-018 which closes the following area to fishing for all species of clams, all mussels, all whelks, all oysters and Bay scallops: 

The foreshore and waters within 300 m of Campobello Island between grid reference 6290 7610 at Otter Cove and grid reference 6028 6775 at Cranberry Point including Curry Cove, Pollock Cove, East Quoddy Head, Head Harbour Island, Sawyers Cove, Mill Cove, Schooner Cove, Little Whale Cove, Meadow Brook Cove, Eastern Head Cove, Herring Cove, Dinner Cove, Ragged Cove, Liberty Cove, Lower Duck Pond, Upper Duck Pond, and Duck Islands.  Refer to map Campobello Island 21 B/15 & 21 B/14. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. NAD 1927.
