Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, issues the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order  MAR-SSN-2015-008 which closes the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks and bay scallops: 

The Magaguadavic River, New Brunswick: 

  1. South-east of a line drawn from grid reference 664471 4997924 at Midjic Bluff to 665272 4998390.  Refer to map St. George 21 G/2 

 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
