Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area(s) to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, and Bay scallops:

A portion of Clam Harvesting Area 7 (sub-sector 17A), namely Clam Cove, Deer Island, New Brunswick and described as:

Clam Cove inside a line drawn from grid reference 5691 8040 on Mink Point to grid reference 5640 8069 on Clam Cove Head (refer to maps St. George 21 G/2 and Campobello Island 21 B/15 & 21 B/14).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2015-016 is hereby revoked.
