Moncton, New Brunswick, August 19, 2026.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada hereby gives notice to stop mackerel bait fishing in the Gulf Region Mackerel Fishing Area 16 pursuant to the conditions of the Mackerel Bait fishing licenses.
Effective August 20, 2026 at 12:00 hrs. (Atlantic Daylight Time) and until further notice, all fishing for mackerel under a bait license must stop.
Notice to Fish Harvesters GNOT-2026-003 is hereby revoked.
